Getting started
Choose your players and camera person, select your settings, and start the game. Allow camera access when asked. The hunter holds the phone with their eyes closed while the other players avoid the photo or perform the agreed safe pose. Review each photo together and score it manually.
Play in a clear, safe space. Keep the hunter stationary while their eyes are closed, and supervise children.
The camera will not start
Check BlinkTag’s camera permission in iOS Settings, then reopen the app. Camera gameplay needs a real device with a camera; profile photos are optional.
Photos and saved players
Game photos and player profiles stay on your device. Resetting a game may leave saved profiles in place. Deleting the app removes local app storage; offloading it can retain data. See the privacy policy for details.
Which modes are available?
This free release includes BlindTag. Other modes labelled “coming soon” are not available yet. There are no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases in this version.
Face scanning
The experimental face scan is optional and may not be supported on your device. You can always review photos and tap the players’ names manually.
